I would def recommend this chalet to anyone looking for a family getaway. This place makes you feel right at home, everything is so detailed and cozy. The fireplace is amazing, and the lights outside and screened porch makes it very nice to talk outside without any bugs getting in the way. I love that they have paddle boards, and the lake is steps away!! So relaxing, made great memories and Chryssa was so nice and responsive!

Stayed here with family, we had a wonderful time. The cabin was everything we expected, and we felt right at home being there. The location was private and was so close to the lake we were basically there all day with the paddle boards! Loved the campfire at night especially, we even saw a bear!!! Overall had an amazing experience and would definitely look forward to being back! 10/10 🐻

This house is beautiful - could not be any closer to the lake and was a great place for the family. You do have to bring your own linens or rent for a small price. I also had to fill out a few forms with information from my guests that was at times hard to coordinate. Overall, I enjoyed this place. The house and the lake are beautiful, there are a lot of things to do and it fit our party of 10 comfortably.

Our stay was awesome! The lake with a beach is very close to the house. The lake had an inflatable bouncy water platform that was a lots of fun for kids! We were able to fish, to dock a small boat, enjoy our time at a beach, and etc. The communication with hosts were clear and they promptly responded to our questions. The house was clean, neat, nicely decorated and equipped with EVERYTHING!!! Everyone in our crew was happy.

This was our first time staying at Locust Lake. Chryssa was a fabulous host, very easy with communication. Checkin was a breeze. We loved our stay! There was plenty of room for all our family so we were comfortable. Having a gas grill to use and an area on the deck that is screened in worked perfectly for us. We forgot to bring our beach chairs, but Chryssa had that covered with a beach wagon, chairs, stand up paddle boards and life jackets. The beach area was right around the corner making it very easy. There’s a nice area to sit around the campfire and toast marshmallows. The string lights add to the atmosphere by the campfire and the screened in porch. I could go on & on. We made so many wonderful memories and can’t wait to return!

Chryssa's house is in a prime location as you can practically see Locust Lake from the porch. our group was able to walk back and forth from the beach easily when our infants needed a break from the heat. the house is cozy and comfy inside, and has watercraft like paddle boards to enjoy the lake nearby. very happy with the house and would recommend to others.

We had the BEST time over Memorial Day weekend. The weather was great the SIPS were great and used. As were all the beach items. The beach is like 1000 feet from the house. All the "cool" activities were at that beach- seafood boil, DJ, sandcastle contest, cornhole contest, free s'mores and bonfire the list goes on. When it came to dish towels, hot pads dishwasher detergent (the list of what is there is (AMAZING) Thank you so much for providing those. The house was sparkling clean and had trash bags, napkins, salt and pepper. etc. Many of the houses we have rented you had to bring EVERTHING. The communication with the host was amazing and the house I would highly recommend!!!! We hope to visit again soon with our extended family. Thank you so much for having us and all that you did to make sure we had a great time.

I highly recommend choosing this house. The location is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by a forest and a small lake just a three-minute walk away. The house itself is superb, very cozy, and equipped with everything you might need. It's filled with thoughtful details, anticipating your needs before you even realize them. There are helpful hints everywhere, making your stay more convenient. Every little thing is well-designed, creating a harmonious nest with a consistent style. Even the salt and pepper shakers are not just ordinary; they breathe in unison with the overall style. The hardest part was leaving; I believe you need at least 5 days to truly savor the experience in such a house and location. In addition to everything, I felt a strong sense of care and attention from Ginni. She assisted throughout the entire journey, reminding me of tasks or paperwork I might have forgotten. She was understanding of my requests and never kept me waiting for a response. The best host and house
