Amazing light filled rooms and comfortable seating everywhere. There is something for every one here! At the top of the house is a King bed with ensuite bathroom fit for the King and Queen. Also a twin bed. There is a bathroom on each level for your convenience! The downstairs family room is the place to have fun! Pool table, foosball, Or challenge someone to the hoops game. There is a tv and comfy couches there. On the main floor you have a large common area with leather seating and a dining table. Large sliding doors take you out to a very large deck with plenty of outdoor seating. Plus! A 4 season room with a small fridge and a private little deck of its own. After you cook up some memories in the nicely appointed kitchen, you can retire (eventually) to one of the 4 bedrooms that will sleep 12 of your favorite people. Outside there is room to play a family corn hole tournament or hang out at the fire pit. --LOCUST LAKE VILLAGE-- You'll be a short ride to 3 lakes, stocked with Trout and Bass. Make sure to get a PA Fishing License & Community Fishing License when you throw your line in from the shore or boat. *Locust Lake has a pavilion for picnicking or occasional entertainment in the summer. A little snack shack with ice cream, a beach, playground, shuffleboard, horseshoes, volleyball net, charcoal grills, picnic tables! Bathrooms! *Pines Lake has a boat rental and dive platform in the lake, playground, picnic area, playground, horseshoe pit, volleyball net. Bathrooms! * East Lake has a beach, picnic area with grills, playground, volleyball net, basketball court, dive platform and bathrooms! *Did you see those cool Tennis Courts when you came in? The surface is special, it is designed for 100% drainage, play 5 minutes after it rains! *Community BBQ with music and children's activities on Friday nights in the summer. *There are no gas powered boats to spoil the Pennsylvania Certified PRISTINE lakes in our 5 STAR rated Community This whole area is an outdoor enthusiast's dream! We have easy access to a variety of Mount Pocono's hiking trails, zip lines, golf courses, ski slopes, water parks, and biking trails, wineries and a few breweries, we are looking forward to the completion of Pocono Springs. White water rafting, horseback riding and ATV tours within driving distance. Big Boulder and Jack Frost Ski Resorts are only 5-10 minutes away from home, while Camelback Ski, Water Park and adventure Park, Kalahari, Jim Thorpe, even Stroudsburg can be reached in about 20 minutes. Sledding Anyone? When Mother nature blankets our community we have the BEST sledding hill around! We have a large toboggan for you all the pile on! We also have a Bunny Slope with a J bar lift! Do a snow dance! Locust Lake Village charges a parking fee per car and for more than 6 adult ($9 pp per day for over 12 years old) wristbands when you pre register for your stay. I will answer all your questions, PERSONALLY. I want your vacation experience to be exactly right. Please let me know ahead of time if there is something special I can provide for you. CANCELLATION: You will receive a refund for cancelling, regardless of the timing, for any nights that are rebooked, minus any applicable fees. EX: If you cancel 7 nights, and Someone else books 5 of those nights, you will be refunded the 5 nights minus fees. FAQs: LINENS: Why do we offer linen choices? Like everywhere else, there is a labor shortage for cleaners. The time it takes for them to wash the linens and make the beds, is time they could be spending getting more houses clean. We offer a choice, you can bring your own linens or have fresh sanitized linens at the door when you arrive! It's so convenient! Just plop them into the box outside before you leave! The linen service is only $20.00 per person up to 9, (3 would be free) people, please indicate on your rental form what you would like to do! You can pay for it right there on the form! TRASH: Why do we have to take our trash to the compactor? Many communities in the Poconos have had to abandon individual house trash removal. The bears get into all of the 'bear proof' boxes and spread the trash all over. At great expense to the community, compactors were installed. Since there is no house pick up, it is up to the residents and guests to remove their trash to the compactors. This is mountain living! The cleaners really don't like putting trash in their car, especially if the area is closed on your check out day, so they charge $50 to do it. We offer you a choice, you can add trash service to your stay on the contract, if you don't want to run it to the compactor. It isn't far, it's on Martha's Lane, just check the open times! TV: Do you offer BringYour Own Streaming Service? Yes! Sign into your own streaming accounts! WRIST BANDS: Why do we have to wear them? Our community wants to know who has paid to be here, and who may have snuck in to use our facilities. PARKING FEE: Why does the community charge for parking, when we are in the driveway? The community feel that the extra traffic causes extra maintenance, this helps cover that cost. - Please note, there is a ring doorbell with camera, (just push the button if you need help!) -It is required to have a good time!
