"Perfect Getaway in the woods! Our stay here was fantastic! A long weekend to get our kiddos up in the mountain air for some winter activities. The home was perfect - cozy, mountain charm, and it had everything we needed. The hot tub, loft area with games, and the cozy fireplace were all a hit. The perfect spot to make memories!!" Justin N. This contemporary mountain cabin with mountain decor is just want you want for your family vacation Experience! Work remotely with a view (if you must) THREE BEDROOMS, 6 BEDS & 2 FULL BATHS 1. Queen on first floor with a Roku TV 2. Queen bed on second floor with a memory foam Mattress and Roku TV 3. Bear Room has twin bunk beds, a twin beds and a trundle bed 🪵Imagine siting on the swings around the fire pit, Firewood is included! ☕️Take your morning coffee out to the screened porch or swing fire pit, the deer & chipmunks are nice company! 🚙 Get in the golf cart and take a ride and do a scavenger hunt! Take your wine, book and chair to the lake or beach to sit next to the crystal clear lake. 🛶Take out a kayak, we even have a junior kayak for younger children! Do a little fishing, maybe tennis, there are racquets here for you. ➡️ Were you thinking of pampering yourself with a facial and massage in a nearby SPA? Come back and sit in the relaxing hot tub afterwards! We have easy access to a variety of Mount Pocono's hiking trails, zip lines, golf courses, ski slopes, water parks, and biking trails, wineries and a few breweries, white water rafting, horseback riding and ATV tours, Ponono Raceway are within a short driving distance. Bushkill Falls too. DO visit Jim Thorpe, shopping, food and great trails along the LeHigh River for walking and biking.The Tannersville Outlets may beckon you for a visit. We have taken an ATV tour that was awesome! 🥘Cook dinner in the well equipped kitchen and set the table for a great family meal (with more wine). Maybe take an evening stroll around one the lakes, or enjoy some entertainment that maybe happening in the community. Finally...sit on the swings and enjoy a nice campfire with a SOLO STOVE & maybe some s'mores in the SWING FIRE PIT. Bring your beach towel and hop in the HOT TUB, you can rent extra linens or towels if you like. Linens: We provide blankets, comforters, pillows. You can bring your own linens or order your fresh sanitized linens for only $15. pp. Bring your Beach/Hot Tub towels, or you can order extra linens and towels if you like. TRASH: Many communities in the Poconos have had to abandon individual house trash removal. There is no house pick up, it is up to the residents and guests to remove their trash to the compactors. This is mountain living! It isn't far, it's on Martha's Lane, just check the open times! Locust Lake Village is a four season community. Other Details to Note
Community Registration Locust Lake Village (LLV) requires a rental registration. After the booking is made, a link to the form will be sent. Please have ready the names of everyone in your group and the following information for each car; make, model, color, and plate number, to complete the form. Wristbands - IMPORTANT! During your stay in LLV, please wear the green renter wristbands provided at all times. The wristbands are kept on a rack on the kitchen counter. Please note that LLV will charge you $25.00 each for any missing wristbands, so please be sure they are all returned before your departure. You will receive a resolution request if any are found missing. Snow Removal The plow truck only comes if there is 4 inches or more of snow. They will shovel when they come, to the front door only. Snow shovels and salt/sand are provided for your use while at the house to help you keep safe from falls. PA fishing permits are needed to fish in the lakes Amenities here are for your enjoyment, Please use them gently and with care! Please note: There is a Ring doorbell and a camera facing the back door for security when the house is empty. The camera does NOT face the HOT TUB! It can record footage.

Locust Lake Village: We have 3 main Lakes: Pines, Locust, and East. Each lake has a beach with a swimming area, a picnic area with tables and charcoal grills, horseshoe pits, volleyball nets, playgrounds, and bathroom facilities. * Locust Lake also has a pavilion, shuffleboard, and seasonal snack shack. * Pines Lake has a snack shack and boat rental. * East Lake also has basketball courts * Non Motorized boats, rafts and Paddle boards on Pines and Locust only * Pines, Locust and East Lake are stocked annually with Bass and Trout, but you'll find perch and sunnies too! * Tennis Anyone? We have amazing courts with a special surface for quick drying after rain. * The Chalet hosts BBQs and other events. See the website for the calendar. Ski Hill and Sledding Hill: If Mother Nature provides the powder you can slide on either hill. Pilgrim Lake our little partially hidden lake (pond) is worthy of a chair and a book!
